PURPOSE

To be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ECB Performance Centre at Loughborough University and the co-ordination of facility usage.

Assist the Performance Centre Manager with all aspects ECB Performance Centre management, including its user groups, facilities, equipment and finances.

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF

  • You have an interest in high performance sport and have a passion for contributing to the performance of England Cricket teams.
  • You enjoy and have an aptitude for operational planning and programming the use of facilities.

  • Whilst capable of working within a dynamic team, you can take individual responsibility for scheduling and programming a busy, multi-use facility with a diverse range of users with competing needs.
  • You are an effective, meticulous administrator who can diligently complete critical tasks.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Scheduling the usage of the ECB Performance Centre for all key stakeholder groups including communication with stakeholders, collation of all booking requests and responsibility for programming the facilities (indoor & outdoor).
  • Weekly issuing of schedules to all relevant Performance Centre staff groups.
  • Responsibility for ensuring the ECB Performance Centre serves as a well maintained and equipped place of work for staff as well as a high performance facility for squads.
  • Coordinating and assisting with accommodation and catering bookings for relevant groups.
  • Leading and maintaining exceptional working relationships with relevant Loughborough University (LU) departments (including operational staff, ground staff, events staff and security).
  • Liaising with LU reception staff regarding day-to-day operations.
  • Liaising with LU Facility Manager regarding building and equipment maintenance, security and H&S operations.
  • Managing and issuing of Performance Centre building keys, access swipe cards and parking/vehicle charging permits for ECB staff.
  • Being responsible for updates to honours and achievements boards, player recognition or other imagery in the Centre.
  • Assisting the Performance Centre Manager with adherence to budget parameters within day-to-day operations, securing PO numbers and payment of invoices.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • The right to work in the UK
  • Experience of administration, ideally in facility management and ideally in high performance sport.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good cricket knowledge which allows you to support, interact and maintain and an optimal set of cricket facilities – desirable.
  • Financial management experience – desirable.
  • High levels of personal and professional integrity – essential.
  • Good IT literacy skills, especially in MS Excel – essential.
