Our Global Advisory Team delivers data-driven insights and strategic recommendations for clients across the sports industry, working at the intersection of strategy, analytics and creativity. Drawing on our expertise, experience, knowledge, consumer insights, media research and market intelligence, we help brands and rights-holders make smarter decisions, build and optimise their commercial models, and translate data into actionable recommendations that create long-term value. This role will form part of a brand-new global team being brought into the business to strengthen our consultancy offering. The team will help rights-holders, brands and partners better understand the commercial opportunities in this rapidly growing space, from sponsorship strategy and inventory optimisation through to pricing, go-to-market planning and partnership performance measurement.
- Lead and grow SPORTFIVE’s Global Advisory business globally, driving strategic development and commercial performance across markets.
- Build, inspire and develop international consulting teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation.
- Shape SPORTFIVE’s consulting proposition and drive the development of new products and services across sponsorship strategy, valuation, measurement and commercialization.
- Partner with country leadership, commercial teams and functional experts across SPORTFIVE to align business priorities, build advisory capabilities and drive collaboration across international markets.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, leveraging your network and working closely with commercial teams across the organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives across brands, rights holders and governing bodies, leading high-profile consulting engagements worldwide.
- Represent SPORTFIVE externally and establish thought leadership through key client relationships, industry events and publications.
- Ensure best-in-class quality across consulting projects and foster collaboration across Global Advisory, Brand Consulting, Creative, Commercial and international market teams.
10-15+ years of experience in consulting, market intelligence, sponsorship strategy or commercial advisory, with significant leadership responsibility.
Established reputation and strong network within the global sports industry, with experience advising senior stakeholders across brands, rights holders, media organisations or governing bodies.
Proven track record of building, leading and scaling teams, products or consulting businesses.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen and experience driving business development and thought leadership.
Outstanding strategic thinking, storytelling and communication skills, with confidence interacting with C-level decision-makers.
Deep understanding of sponsorship, media, fan insights and the commercial sports ecosystem.
Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across international, cross-functional organisations, building strong partnerships across markets and business units.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Passion for sports and the ambition to shape the future of advisory services in the industry.
