Role Overview
You will support the delivery of production, branding and LED services across football events and stadiums in the UK. This hands‑on role involves preparing, installing and removing signage and branding that forms a key part of the matchday environment, and requires regular travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays.
Matchday & Production Operations
- Support the delivery of matchday production services across football venues.
- Work closely with stadium and event teams to ensure correct placement of all matchday assets.
- Install and remove signage and branding, including pitch flags, handshake boards, interview backdrops and mixed‑zone assets.
- Ensure match ball plinths are positioned and removed in line with matchday timings.
- Lay graphics and signage to a high standard, taking pride in quality and finish.
- Help ensure everything is in place ahead of kick‑off and removed efficiently post‑match.
- Monitor the condition of all production assets and report any damage in line with internal procedures.
- Ensure all activity is delivered safely, efficiently and without impacting match schedules.
LED & Technical Operations
- Support the delivery of LED services, including assisting with deliveries, installations and removals.
- Assist with the setup, testing, operation and dismantling of LED equipment.
- Support work on LED structures and associated equipment.
- Assist the Technical LED Operations Manager with on‑site delivery and basic fault resolution.
- Support stock control, preparation and movement of LED hardware.
Warehouse Responsibilities
- Support general warehouse duties, including preparation, packing and organisation of equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles for matchday delivery.
- Support stock control and asset tracking.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
General Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of suppliers, freelancers and venue staff.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in line with operational standards.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clubs, venues and partners.
- Follow RAMS and health & safety procedures across all activity.
Qualifications
- Experience in a production, events, operations or signage‑related role.
- A keen interest in working in the sports industry.
- Understanding of signage installation and experience laying graphics (desirable).
- Experience using power tools in a practical environment.
- A hands‑on approach with strong practical skills and problem‑solving ability.
- Pride in delivering high‑quality work and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, time‑critical environments.
- Ability to undertake the physical aspects of the role, including regular manual handling and lifting of heavy equipment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, reliable and professional attitude.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and matchdays.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
- FLT licence and driving experience desirable but not essential.
- Background in signage, events or similar industry is a plus.
