Fight for Peace is looking for a passionate youth worker. The appointee will be a visible and trusted presence during evening sessions at the Academy, building genuine relationships with young people and supporting their personal, social, and educational development.
The role centres on open-access evening provision, including supporting sports sessions and leading the Hub, which is our dedicated youth work space. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Inducting and registering young people
- Facilitating personal development conversations
- Managing behaviour in line with our values
You will create an environment where young people feel safe, accepted, and empowered. Alongside this, you will provide ad-hoc mentoring and one-to-one support, responding to individual needs and connecting young people to more intensive support where required.
Right to work in the UK is essential for the duration of the contract and visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
