Location: Lord’s Cricket Ground, London (with flexible working)

Contract: Full-time

Reports to: Director of Programmes and Operations

About the role

As Programme Coordinator, you’ll sit at the heart of how the MCC Foundation delivers its work. You’ll work closely with the Programmes & Operations Team and provide administrative and organisational support to the Chief Executive. It’s a great opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and tech-savvy, and who wants to build experience in a growing, purpose-driven organisation.

What you’ll do

  • Supporting the coordination and administration of MCCF’s UK programmes, including the National Hub Programme and Competition, Coaching Scholarship Programme, Girls’ Hubs and the Barclays Knight-Stokes Cup. This will include working with Programme Managers on scheduling, logistics, communications, equipment, venues and events, and ensuring programme, attendance, safeguarding and partner records are accurate and up to date.
  • Using and maintaining programme systems and digital tools (such as Monday.com, shared drives and databases); supporting the collection and quality-checking of monitoring and evaluation data; and contributing to reports, dashboards and updates that demonstrate impact. You’ll also help improve templates, workflows and processes to make programme administration more efficient.
  • Supporting relationships with delivery partners and helping to ensure safeguarding and compliance requirements are met, including maintaining records for DBS checks, training and risk assessments.
  • Providing administrative and organisational support to the Chief Executive and wider senior team, including diary management, meeting preparation, travel arrangements, communications, and general office, governance and planning support.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and digitally confident, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with a wide range of people. We recognise that people develop skills and experience in different ways, and we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement listed below.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using digital tools and platforms (e.g. Microsoft Office, project management or collaboration tools), with the willingness and support to learn new systems as needed.
  • A professional, discreet and collaborative approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • An interest in cricket and/or sport for social impact.
  • Experience in a charity, sports, education or youth-facing environment.
  • Experience supporting programmes, events or senior leaders.
  • Familiarity with CRM, monitoring and evaluation or programme management systems.

How you’ll work

You’re proactive and solution-focused, always looking for better ways of doing things, and comfortable working with systems, data and digital platforms to support effective decision-making and reporting. You collaborate well with others, value teamwork and build positive relationships, and adapt easily to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Above all, you’re values-driven and motivated by making a real difference through your work.

Our commitment to inclusion and accessibility

The MCC Foundation is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds, particularly those who are underrepresented in cricket and the charity sector. We’re happy to discuss flexible working arrangements and any reasonable adjustments you may need during the recruitment process or in the role. What you’ll get from us
