About the Role: Matchday operators work to enable the on-the-ground execution of Sportable tracked Women’s Super League matchdays. Successful candidates will attend local WSL match weekends providing assistance to the matchday lead. On-site responsibilities will include assistance with system installation, in-game operation and post-match pack down of equipment. This role revolves around WSL matchdays so will include weekend work at a regular cadence. Candidates are to only apply if they are willing and able to travel to one (or more) WSL stadiums with the reliability and commitment to the majority of home fixtures. This role operates on a casual contract structure, paid hourly. Shifts will vary in length according to the demands of the environment, this revolves around kick-off times so can breach non-typical office hours.

Contract Start Date: 4th September 2026

Compensation: £13.50/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with on-site set up, delivery and close down of Sportable tracking technology
  • Execute live operational processes in accordance with Sportable standard operating procedures
  • Operate confidently within live match environments
  • Identify and elevate operational or technical issues appropriately
  • Represent Sportable professionally at all times whilst on-site
  • Support the creation of a positive, professional and high-performing operational environment on-site

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Passion for sports
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced live environments
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and process adherence
  • Confidence working independently and making operational decisions
  • Willingness to work weekends regularly
  • Ability to work outside of traditional office hours when delivering

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Currently studying, or wanting to study, a field such as sports technology or sports events management
  • Experience within elite sport, live events, or sports technology environments
  • Understanding of football operations and/or live matchday environments
  • Experience coordinating people or operational activity
  • Experience in stakeholder-facing roles
