  • Tackle complex technical problems with a balanced mix of analytical and hands-on approach.
  • Communicate clearly with (and support!) the rest of the engineering team.
  • Be the main technical point of contact with external suppliers (Technology partners, PCB Fab & Assembly for prototyping purposes, Test houses): being responsible for the quality of their deliveries.

Technical Skills/Past Experience:

  • Proven record of delivering digital and analog Electronics designs from architecture to production, preferably with a focus on battery-powered, MCU-based applications.
  • Experience working with products including RF (GPS, BT, UWB) is a must have.
  • Technically fluent in Firmware, Mechanical, and Manufacturing engineering.
  • Have gone through the complete certification process (CE and FCC) in the past – with specific emphasis on EMC troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable with eCAD tools for Schematics at least – Layout using Altium would be a plus.
  • Proficient with test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, RF – Spectrum analyzers, Network Analyzers, and RF Signal Generators) & good soldering skills for debug purposes (down to 0201 packages).
  • Understanding of Embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers and familiarity with standard interface bus: SPI, I2C, UART, USB.
  • Capable of considering the product full life cycle while designing and validating: DfM, DfT, DtC, and EMI.
  • (Nice to have) Have led a small team of engineers in the past.
  • (Nice to have) Experience in a smaller company or start-up environment where the portfolio of responsibilities tends to be broader.
