The Returns Processor is responsible for processing customer returns quickly, accurately and consistently, ensuring customers receive a fast resolution while maintaining high standards of quality and stock accuracy.

Working within the Returns Team, you will assess returned footwear, clothing and equipment, determining whether products are suitable for resale, require further inspection or should be processed as faulty. You will be expected to achieve productivity and quality targets while following company procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer returns accurately and efficiently in line with company procedures.
  • Assess returned footwear, clothing and equipment for condition, completeness and resale suitability.
  • Process unsuitable, faulty and unwanted returns in accordance with company policies.
  • Accurately record return reasons and outcomes using the returns management system.
  • Ensure returned stock is correctly allocated for resale or further investigation.
  • Identify and escalate unusual, damaged or potentially fraudulent returns where appropriate.
  • Process customer exchanges and refunds within agreed service level targets.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy while achieving daily productivity targets.

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow all returns processing procedures and quality standards.
  • Ensure customer returns are handled fairly and consistently.
  • Maintain accurate system records for all returned products.
  • Escalate product quality issues and recurring faults where identified.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and company procedures.
