About The Role
PURPOSE
This role will lead on brand and marketing campaigns for key projects across England Women’s International cricket and women’s domestic cricket. The role will report into the Head of Marketing (Women’s Cricket & Recreational Cricket) within the Core Marketing team, and will work closely with other members of the Marketing, Digital, Communications, Participation and Growth, Events, Finance and Operations teams. They will also work with the Professional Game Counties, venues, partners and our agency partners.
YOU’LL BE DOING
- Implementing the marketing strategy for England Women’s internationals, driving exponential growth in attendance, particularly as we build towards the Women’s World Cup in 2026. This includes developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that support key commercial objectives such as ticket sales and data acquisition, working closely with internal teams and agency partners.
- Implementing the domestic women’s marketing strategy in line with the inaugural season of the new domestic women’s structure—laying strong foundations for long-term growth.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders across the game, including all 18 Professional County Clubs and MCC, to develop joint plans and deliver a cohesive, nationwide strategy.
- Working cross-functionally within the ECB teams, aligning with communications, digital, data, product, events, and commercial partnerships teams to ensure brand consistency and fully integrated campaign execution.
- Leveraging data and insights from partners such as Two Circles, as well as the professional game to inform and refine marketing activity.
YOU’LL HAVE
- Experience in the planning and delivery of consumer and content marketing campaigns, ideally with experience managing creative and media agencies
- Demonstrable experience of brand management and building multi-channel campaign plans across owned, earned and paid media, including CRM and email campaigns.
- The ability to work with customer insight and data, using it to inform campaign planning.
- Experience managing and influencing key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Experience and confidence in public speaking and presenting to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience working or volunteering in women’s and/or girls sport is desirable
