About The Role
Established in December 2023, the Cricket Regulator was set up to be the ring-fenced executive team responsible for ensuring effective education programmes are in place; to operate best practice monitoring, intelligence, and compliance programmes; to investigate alleged breaches, and to prosecute cases where considered appropriate.
To ensure that cricket continues to be a force for good, we are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Education and Support Manager to manage proactive education and support relating to discrimination, misconduct and safeguarding.
The role involves a range of strategic and operational day-to-day responsibilities to ensure the game is supported to reduce and manage potential breaches of regulation.
The Education and Support Manager build strong relationships with stakeholders across the game, develop and manage educational products and integrate Cricket Regulator educational products across recreational and professional cricket.
You will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of education, training, identifying patterns and driving change in cricket across England and Wales.

- YOU'LL BE DOING
- Lead the development and delivery of the education elements of the Cricket Regulator strategy, driving best practice, promoting safe environments, and supporting the effective management and mitigation of risk across the game.
- Lead the design and implementation of quality assurance standards for training across the Cricket Regulator, establishing and maintaining the internal standards expected for all educational programmes delivered within the department.
- Design and implement a quality assurance framework for contractors delivering Cricket Regulator external products ensuring consistent standards, quality, and compliance in all learning and development activities.
- Carry out observations of education learning and assessment both internally and externally with staff providing where appropriate bespoke support on how they can improve their education delivery.
- Support continuous improvement across the suit of education delivered by the cricket Regulator
- Build and maintain relationships with providers ensuring the best value for money and best learning experience for those undertaking training.
- Lead on the design, implement and delivery of e Learning and in-person educational packages and resources, manage and review existing resources across the Education & Support team
- Explore new areas of educational materials in consultation with Cricket Regulator staff Professional Cricket Clubs, Recreational Cricket Boards, and National County Cricket Clubs
- Provide guidance, support, education and training to the cricket network, ECB colleagues and stakeholders to enhance their understanding, management of and response to discrimination, integrity, misconduct and safeguarding
- Monitor and review the Cricket Regulators website and other digital resources
- Support the Education & Support team with any other tasking to support the organisations objectives
- Provide consistent support, in collaboration with the Anti-Discrimination & Disciplinary Advisors (ADDAs) and County Safeguarding Advisors (CSAs) to Counties around the CPA, case management and audits.
- Build and maintain relationships with ECB colleagues and cricket organisations across England and Wales and act as their main point of contact at the Cricket Regulator
