High Performance Sport NZ (HPSNZ) is searching for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Business Performance Support team at our Regional Performance Centre in Cambridge. Diverse Responsibilities: From managing office operations, coordinating workshops and travel logistics to preparing and formatting reports and presentations, every day brings new challenges and opportunities.

Grow Your Skills: Use and expand your expertise in business support, office operations, applications and systems. Experience with health & safety is a plus.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A collaborative team member with a demonstrated ability to resolve customer queries efficiently and maintain positive relationships.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and remains effective under pressure.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint (preferable) or a CRM system.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in planning events, organising workshops, and coordinating travel logistics.
  • Analytical, strategic, proactive problem-solver who identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Professional, self-driven, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Shows strong initiative and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Skilled in event operations, document preparation, and database administration.
  • Experience working autonomously, in fast-paced or competitive settings such as sports teams, corporate events, or similar environments is an advantage.

This is a part-time role, 0.6 FTE across Monday to Friday, based in Cambridge. The role offers opportunities to work closely with key stakeholders and contribute to regional and impactful projects. The position is responsible for ensuring HPSNZ's operations in Cambridge operate efficiently and effectively. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team committed to world-class support for New Zealand's elite athletes. Collaborate with stakeholders nationwide and help shape the future of sport in New Zealand.
