As an Active Schools Coordinator, you will play a key role in increasing participation in sport and physical activity across the Northfield Associated School Group (ASG) in Aberdeen. This includes the secondary school and its feeder primary schools, providing you with the opportunity to make a real impact across the whole school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate a diverse and engaging extracurricular sport and physical activity programme
- Recruit, support, and develop volunteers and young leaders
- Create pathways from school sports to local sports clubs and community groups
- Support young people from priority groups to participate in activities
- Work collaboratively with school staff, local partners, and community organisations

- Strong project management skills
- A passion for making a difference in young people’s lives
- An ambitious, friendly, and outgoing personality
- The ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with school staff, volunteers, and community partners
