Overview
Sport Aberdeen operates 5 swimming pools across the city. We are looking for flexible, reliable and friendly individuals who enjoy working as part of a team to support the management of the facilities. You will be self-motivated, have good communication skills, be proactive and work as part of a team to maintain the highest standards of customer service. The role includes lifeguarding the pools, helping customers to enjoy their visit, and ensuring high standards of building presentation to maintain smooth operation of the facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in lifeguarding and ensuring the safety of pool users.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to visitors.
- Maintain high standards of building presentation and facility cleanliness.
- Be the on-shift lead, coordinating teammates and time to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is a pre-requisite for lifeguarding. If not held, the Company will support suitable candidates through the qualification at no cost, based on attitude and potential.
- All positions are subject to a PVG check.
- Strong communication, teamwork and proactive approach.
