About the opportunity

About the Role

You will be the in-house design lead for Exclaimer's marketing team, setting the standard for how our brand looks and feels wherever customers and prospects meet it. This is a hands-on role covering campaign creative, paid ads, web and landing page design, events, and motion, working closely with the brand, content, demand generation, and product marketing teams.

You'll also own quality. Our creative now comes from several places: in-house templates, AI-assisted production, freelancers, and agencies. You'll decide what you design yourself, what can be built from templates or with AI tools, and what goes to an agency, then review the output so everything we publish is consistent and on-brand.

Speed matters too. Our core web pages need redesigning for answer engine optimization (AEO), and our partner and account-based marketing (ABM) programs are growing. You will help us move faster by building reusable, easy-to-use design systems and by using AI design tools with a designer's eye for quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Consistency & Quality Control
    • Own the Exclaimer visual identity, keeping the brand system, templates, and guidelines current and easy to use.
    • Review creative from across the team, freelancers, agencies, and AI tools, and give clear, constructive feedback so everything we publish meets brand standards.
    • Together with the Brand team, decide which requests you design yourself and which are delegated to agencies or produced from templates or with AI, based on audience, visibility, and shelf life.
    • Build reusable, well-documented templates in Figma and/or Canva that colleagues can edit by hand or use with AI tools such as Claude.
    • Brief, direct, and review work from external design partners, and make handovers simple.
  • Campaign & Paid Creative
    • Design full campaign asset sets so every touchpoint is consistent, including social ads, web banners, display ads, email and email signature banners, landing page graphics, and infographics.
    • Create conversion-focused ads for LinkedIn and other paid channels, working to each platform's specs and producing variations for testing.
    • Turn product imagery and UI into polished digital assets for paid, web, and sales enablement.
    • Tailor assets for partner and ABM programs, understanding the nuances between audiences.
    • Work with demand generation to use performance data to improve ad creative.
  • Web & Landing Pages
    • Design page layouts, outlines, and imagery for landing pages and core website pages, applying UX best practice.
    • Work with the web, content, and SEO teams to speed up the redesign of core pages for AEO.
    • Hand off Figma designs clearly to developers and web agencies.
  • Events & Creative Concepts
    • Bring creative ideas to events, activations, and content assets, from concept through to production files.
    • Design event materials across formats, from large-format banners and lightbox graphics to digital signage loops and giveaways.
    • Prepare print-ready artwork and work with print suppliers.
  • AI-Enabled Design
    • Use AI design tools (for example Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, and Claude) to speed up production.
    • Test new tools and workflows, and document guidelines so the wider team can use them well.
    • Review every AI output for accuracy, brand voice, and quality before it ships.
  • Delivery & Collaboration
    • Manage several campaigns and requests at once, prioritise clearly, and keep stakeholders informed of timelines.
    • Work with brand, content, demand generation, product marketing, web, and channel teams to understand what each asset needs to achieve.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in brand, marketing, or graphic design, ideally in a B2B, SaaS, or tech environment.
  • A portfolio showing consistent brand execution across web, ads, social, and sales content.
  • Expert Figma skills, including components, variants, Auto Layout, and variables. Experience limited to Canva is not enough for this role.
  • Experience maintaining a brand system, templates, and guidelines for others to use.
  • Proven experience designing conversion-focused ads, with knowledge of specs and best practice across LinkedIn, Meta, and display.
  • UX knowledge for landing page and website layouts.
  • Confident, active use of AI design tools (for example Midjourney, Firefly, Runway, and Claude), and a view on what the latest and best options are.
  • Ability to use AI critically, knowing when and how to apply it while maintaining brand quality and accuracy.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • An excellent eye for detail and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback to non-designers.

Nice to have:

  • Motion design and animation skills in tools such as After Effects or Jitter.
  • Short-form video editing in tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Descript.
  • Experience designing for events, print, and experiential activations.
  • Ability to read campaign data and apply it to creative decisions.
  • Experience building or editing pages in Webflow, HubSpot, or WordPress.
  • Experience designing for technical audiences such as IT professionals.
