As a Client Director at Sponge, you’ll lead a portfolio of high-value clients, building trusted partnerships at a senior level and spotting opportunities that drive real commercial impact. You’ll connect ideas to outcomes — shaping strategy, unlocking growth, and ensuring everything we deliver adds value. Internally, you’ll collaborate across teams and mentor others, helping raise the bar across our client function.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading enterprise-level client relationships
- Strong track record of account growth and retention
- Commercially sharp with confidence in strategy and forecasting and achieving revenue related KPI’s
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, including C-suite
- A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others
Responsibilities
- Lead key client relationships with a focus on long-term growth and value
- Run strategic sessions (e.g. QBRs, roadmaps) to shape direction and unlock opportunity
- Identify and drive commercial opportunities across accounts
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex client challenges
- Support and mentor Client Managers & SDRs
- Work cross-functionally to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery

Location
Location – Remote or Hybrid Bristol. For those based within commuting distance of Bristol, this is a hybrid role with regular time in the office (typically 2–3 days per week). For those further afield, the role can be fully remote — with opportunities to connect in person where possible. We believe great work happens both together and independently, and we’ll support you to do your best work wherever you’re based. We currently have main offices in the UK in Bristol and in Europe in Berlin and Brussels.
