The Partner Development Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS) will lead Splunk’s long-term UK&I GTM strategy, engagement, and sales execution plan with Splunk’s largest global cloud alliance partner across Europe, Middle East & Africa. This role is part of the EMEA Partner organization leadership team.

This professional will build, drive, own, and execute the business plan to scale the growth of Splunk’s business through the AWS alliance across the UK&I.

Responsibilities
  • Build and run Splunk’s UK&I GTM partnership strategy with AWS, including strategy development, engagement plans, execution, and alignment of GTM functions.
  • Engage with Splunk and AWS Executives to successfully launch offerings through co-selling motions, driving business growth for Splunk, AWS, and partners.
  • Develop a cohesive strategy and foster collaboration with technical and regional counterparts, focusing on pipeline generation and business development.
  • Expand relationships across AWS’s sales, partner, technical, and alliance teams, and own UK&I QBRs.
  • Coordinate go-to-market execution with regional partner teams and manage alliance performance metrics.
  • Drive AWS to build and progress qualified pipeline leading to incremental bookings for Splunk.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to develop collateral and resources for sales enablement and end-customers.
  • Support regional events and optimize participation across EMEA.
  • Maximize the synergy of AWS and Splunk programs, including Partnerverse, Marketplace, and incentive programs.
  • Identify and streamline tools and processes to scale business growth.
  • Establish engagement and communication plans with both Splunk and AWS teams.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management.
  • Meet and exceed revenue and business planning targets.
Requirements
  • Recent and detailed understanding of AWS or similar Hyperscale Cloud Providers (5+ years preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in Software and/or SaaS companies.
  • Experience managing virtual teams across functions and geographies.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Background in sales and building revenue-generating relationships.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with strategic and creative thinking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50%.
  • Location preference: London/UK.
