Job Title : Senior Dynamics 365 Developer – Customer Service

Position Overview

The client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Developer with expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Dynamics 365, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse to support the development and optimization of VDOT’s Customer Service platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dynamics 365 Expertise : Provide advanced technical expertise in the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dynamics 365 Customer Service modules.
2. Customization & Development : Customize, configure, and develop Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, including deployments and ongoing usage support.
3. Solution Implementation : Lead efforts in gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, designing, implementing, testing, and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
4. Web Development : Design and develop new web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, and Power Platform technologies (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and C#.
5. Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Dynamics 365; collaborate with system administrators and IT teams to document and implement fixes.
6. Licensing & Governance : Apply strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 licensing models and governance best practices for Power Platform solutions at VDOT.
7. Documentation : Develop and disseminate comprehensive documentation, including requirements, recommendations, technical analyses, and platform usage guidelines.
8. Mockups & Prototypes : Create mockups and prototypes based on business requirements and leverage Power Platform tools to recommend solutions.
9. Liaison Role : Act as a liaison between IT and business units, facilitating communication, issue tracking, and resolution.
10. Requirements Analysis : Assist stakeholders in evaluating Dynamics 365 / PowerApps / Power Automate versus other technologies to recommend the most efficient solutions.
11. Process Improvement : Contribute to refining internal processes and policies to align with VDOT’s strategic objectives.
12. DevOps (Preferred) : Experience with Power Platform DevOps tools, including Power Pipelines and ALM Accelerator, is a plus.
13. Other Duties : Perform additional duties as assigned.

Professional Qualifications & Experience

1. Experience :

5+ years as a Dynamics 365 Technical Lead

1. 8+ years creating and managing solutions using Dynamics 365 Customer Service
2. 8+ years of experience with customization and implementation of Forms, Views, Plug-Ins, Workflows, and BPFs in Dynamics 365
3. 3+ years of experience working with Power Platform and Dataverse
4. 3+ years of experience using standard & premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate
5. 2+ years of experience with DevOps in Power Platform / Dynamics 365 environments (preferred)
6. 5+ years of experience with data integrations and migrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF) & SSIS packages (preferred)
