Spliit is building a new kind of financial services company around the home - one of the largest and least well-served areas of everyday financial life. We believe products connected to the home should be simpler, more flexible and designed around how people actually live. Our ambition is to remove friction, give customers greater control and help them build stronger financial futures. We are VC backed, pre-launch in the UK. Our founding team combines leadership experience from major global banks with the pace of an early-stage fintech.

As Spliit's founding Senior Marketing Manager, you will own day-to-day marketing for our UK launch and early growth. Reporting to the CEO and working across Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology, you will turn agreed strategy into coordinated activity across acquisition, creative, CRM and content. This is not a narrow channel role or one built around managing a large team. One day you may review paid performance and brief creative; the next, build an email journey, improve a landing page or work with a creator. Specialist agencies and senior advisers will support you, but you will own the work on Spliit's side.

What you'll own:

  • Turn Spliit's launch plan into a practical marketing calendar, working with the CEO and senior advisers on priorities, positioning and investment.
  • Run day-to-day paid acquisition, manage agencies where used and drive disciplined creative, audience and landing-page testing.
  • Develop creative and content across paid advertising, website, app-store presence, product marketing and customer or partner materials.
  • Build the CRM and lifecycle programme, including segmentation and onboarding, activation, retention and re-engagement journeys.
  • Create and manage creator, influencer, community and referral activity from briefing and approval through measurement.
  • Own organic social, SEO and content execution, establishing a consistent editorial rhythm and useful owned channels.
  • Work with Product and Operations to improve landing pages, registration, onboarding and activation, while separating service communications from consent-based marketing.
  • Maintain practical reporting across spend, acquisition cost, conversion, channel performance and retention, and run a structured test roadmap.
  • Manage the budget, agencies, freelancers, creators and marketing tools, using AI where it genuinely improves speed, quality or economics.
  • Own Marketing's first-line financial-promotion discipline, working with Compliance so claims, creative and targeting are clear, fair, accurate and approved.

What we're looking for:

  • An experienced Senior Marketing Manager, Growth Marketing Manager or Marketing Lead in an early-stage or Series A/B consumer business.
  • You want broader ownership and a path to leadership, but still genuinely enjoy doing the work rather than managing it from a distance.

Essential experience:

  • Broad B2C digital-marketing experience across several of paid, creative, CRM/lifecycle, content, social, SEO, influencer or product marketing - not only one specialist channel.
  • Early-stage or high-growth experience where priorities change, resources are limited and you personally deliver without large internal teams.
  • Strong paid-media fundamentals: able to challenge an agency, understand performance, assess creative and recommend budgets.
  • Hands-on experience building CRM or lifecycle journeys, including segmentation, email planning, testing and consent considerations.
  • Confidence developing briefs, copy and creative across websites, campaigns, social and creator partnerships.
  • Commercial fluency with acquisition cost, conversion, retention, attribution and experimentation, turning data into clear actions.
  • Experience managing agencies or specialist partners while remaining accountable for quality, pace, budget and results.
  • Especially valuable Consumer fintech, financial services or another regulated or high-trust category.
  • A zero-to-one launch for an app-first or digital consumer proposition.
  • Close work with Product on onboarding, conversion and product marketing.
  • Housing, property, household finance or another complex consumer category.
  • Practical use of AI and automation, with sound judgement around quality, data and approvals.

How you work:

  • A genuine doer: happy to open the ad manager, write the brief, build the journey and present the results.
  • Broad, organised and resourceful, keeping multiple workstreams moving without unnecessary process.
  • Commercially ambitious and evidence-led, balancing insight, creative judgement and growth economics.
  • Customer-minded and high-integrity, treating regulation and customer understanding as part of good marketing.
  • Low on ego and high on ownership, curiosity and constructive challenge, with ambition to become Head of Marketing.

What success looks like:

  • Launch campaigns, content, journeys and assets are delivered on time and improved through testing.
  • Paid acquisition and creative testing operate against an agreed scorecard with clear performance visibility.
  • Core CRM journeys are live across onboarding, activation, retention and re-engagement.
  • Organic social, content, SEO, creator and referral activity have a consistent rhythm and measurable contribution.
  • Reporting, financial-promotion controls and agency management are reliable and trusted.
  • A lean operating model is in place and you have shown the breadth and judgement to take on wider leadership responsibility.

Package and working arrangements:

The base salary is £75,000-£90,000, depending on experience, plus a performance bonus of up to 15% tied to launch execution, quality-adjusted growth and capability building. The role has a clear progression path toward Head of Marketing as Spliit grows. Benefits include 25 days' holiday plus.
