You will play a critical role in building the memorable moments and compelling gameplay that will help redefine what a game is and how players interact with it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and fix issues in your own work, in addition to fixing bugs identified by other developers / QA.
  • Act as a point person for a particular area of the game, with deep technical and design knowledge of your area for other designers and members of other departments to consult.
  • Be a pioneer for the team when trying out new technical approaches, with the ability to proactively solve problems and self-research the required information for you to progress, and report your findings to the team.
  • Organize and assist in the creation of design documentation for the work your team will work on, ensuring that it is detailed and accurate, and that your experience suggests that the proposed game elements will be robust, fun and compelling for the player.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that any bugs or issues that require addressing are communicated effectively, and that the Design department is aware of any requirements from others.

About You

  • Experience shipping a AAA title as a Senior.
  • 5+ years of professional programming or scripting experience on multi-discipline teams.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine 4+, with extensive knowledge of UE blueprints and animation notifiers.
  • Experience with working on combat mechanics and systems.
  • Passionate about creating games and delivering the highest quality gameplay for players.
