THE ROLE: Splice is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Designer to create engaging, high‑impact experiences that fuel user growth across our marketplace. In this role, you’ll shape products that captivate new users, highlight value early, and drive meaningful conversion and retention. You’ll partner closely with designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, data scientists, customer experience teams, and marketing to bring ideas from concept to launch. Your work will span designing, prototyping, testing, shipping, and iterating on features that improve the user journey and overall business performance. You’ll use clear communication, thoughtful systems thinking, and a range of prototyping methods to explore solutions, validate hypotheses, and evolve designs collaboratively.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead design for top‑of‑funnel, onboarding, activation, and subscription flows.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data to drive measurable growth outcomes.
- Create and test hypotheses through A/B experiments and rapid iteration.
- Identify friction across the user journey and design solutions that improve conversion and retention.
- Produce high‑quality flows, UI, prototypes, and contribute to our design system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–8 years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS, freemium, or subscription products.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work in growth, lifecycle, or funnel optimization.
- Experience with experimentation, analytics tools, and metrics‑driven decision making.
- Excellent interaction design, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Comfort working in fast‑paced, ambiguous spaces with a test‑and‑learn mindset.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience in music tech or creator platforms.
- Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, personalization, and value‑prop messaging.
The national pay range for this role is $135,754 - $169,693. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
