HOW WE WORK

At Splice, DISCO is a rallying cry for collaboration, accountability, and unity within our organization; Direct, Inclusive, Splice Together, Creator Centric, and Optimistic. Our shared success depends on our ability to support one another, work well together, and communicate directly. By embracing flexibility and a unified approach, we can navigate anything that’s thrown at us. Splice embraces a culture of remote work. You’ll see your colleagues showing up from across the US and the UK. In order to keep us working well as a team, we have regular communication, including Town Halls, departmental all-hands and get-togethers. When you join Splice, you join a network of colleagues, peers, and collaborators.

THE ROLE

We’re building something new at Splice, a product at the intersection of creativity and technology, designed to unlock a new kind of experience for music makers. As Product Manager, you’ll own this product end-to-end, from shaping what gets built to making sure every detail lands right for the creator. This is a rare opportunity: greenfield scope, direct creator impact, and the kind of ambiguity that separates people who thrive in early-stage environments from those who don’t. You’ll be embedded with a small, fast-moving team and fully accountable for the quality of every experience that ships. This is a hands-on execution role. You’ll run usability sessions, sit side-by-side with designers, manage delivery with engineers, and personally QA everything before it goes live. You are the voice of the creator inside the team, and the person responsible for making sure this product is something people love.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and own the research pipeline: run usability testing sessions, analyze session replays and user interviews, and keep the team continuously connected to what creators actually need.
  • Partner closely with designers to spot opportunities, shape solutions end-to-end, and drive them all the way to launch, not just hand off specs.
  • Own delivery alongside engineering: run sprints, track progress, and hold the bar on quality so improvements ship on time and feel polished.
  • QA new features and improvements before release — every time, without exception.
  • Track product performance in our data-analysis platform, own event instrumentation, and use data to make sharp prioritization calls.
  • Help grow our creator base, owning the funnel from first experience through to meaningful engagement and retention.
  • Use modern tools (vibe coding assistants, research synthesizers, internal tooling) as a core part of how you work and scale your impact.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 3–5 years of product management experience in a fast-moving, consumer or creator-facing environment, ideally with a product you genuinely cared about.
  • A passion for creative applications and the craft of building delightful user experiences. You think deeply about how things feel, not just how they function.
  • Hands-on UXR experience: you’ve run user interviews, recruited participants, synthesized findings, and turned them into a clear, prioritized direction.
  • Comfort owning delivery directly with engineers, from sprint kick-off through to shipping and monitoring.
  • A metrics-informed mindset: fluent in funnel analysis, product analytics, and event tracking platforms like Amplitude.
  • High agency and strong judgment: you identify what needs to happen and move on it without waiting to be told.
  • A startup mentality: energized by ambiguity, scrappy when needed, and focused on outcomes over process.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience in music, creative tools, or the broader creator economy.
  • Familiarity with growth funnels, onboarding optimization, or lifecycle engagement.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted workflows for research synthesis, spec writing, or internal tooling.

SPLICE BENEFITS

  • Compensation & Equity: Competitive pay with annual reviews and equity opportunities.
  • Time Off: Unlimited PTO to recharge and thrive.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with immediate vesting and company match.
  • Parental Support: 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for non-birthing parents, and 18–20 weeks for birthing parents.
  • Flexible Work Options: Work remotely or connect at our office hubs and creative spaces worldwide.
  • Professional Growth: Annual learning budget, leadership programs, and team ambassador opportunities.
  • Community & Connection: Inclusive events, team meet-ups, and vibrant Employee Resource Groups.

The national pay range for this role is $97,600 - $122,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
