Reporting to the Head of Nursing or senior Physiotherapist, the Physiotherapist is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and treatment to residents, supporting their physical function, independence, rehabilitation, pain management and quality of life.
The role works closely with the nursing team, care staff, occupational therapists and visiting health professionals to provide a joined-up approach to residents’ physical health and mobility needs.
The Physiotherapist will contribute to the home’s clinical governance, risk management and staff education programme in relation to moving & handling, falls prevention and functional rehabilitation.
- Current HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist is essential
- This is a part time role - working 3 days a week. Total hours will be 24 hours a week
