About Splash Art Republic: Splash Art Republic is a small but fast-growing, family-run experiential art business offering immersive, hands-on creative experiences for adults, families, and groups. We are building a national brand in a category that blends entertainment, creativity, and social experience and are looking to appoint an experienced, energetic and creative Marketing Manager to support and drive growth.

The Opportunity: This is a hands-on, commercially focused marketing role with genuine ownership and the opportunity for the right person to help shape the future of the company. As the business scales, there is potential for the role to evolve into Head of Marketing, with responsibility for building a team and strategy across multiple locations.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Driving bookings and demand across our venues.
  • Working closely with the founders to build and run the marketing engine that supports their ambitions to grow the business into a nationally recognised brand.

Primary Objective: Increase bookings, utilisation, and repeat visits across Splash Art Republic locations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the marketing plan to drive bookings and revenue, exploiting all channels including digital and traditional.
  • Manage and optimise paid channels (Meta, Google, etc.) and work with specialist contractors where appropriate and as budget allows.
  • Improve session fill rates, particularly during off-peak periods.
  • Manage the website and develop email and CRM campaigns to increase repeat visits.
  • Work with studio teams to develop high quality, relevant content and ensure local marketing is effective and relevant.
  • Build and test offers, promotions, events, and partnerships that drive measurable demand.
  • Track performance and report clearly on what’s working, what’s not, and why.

This is a commercial role; success will be measured in bookings and revenue, not vanity metrics.

What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months):

  • Clear understanding of our customer segments and booking behaviour.
  • Measurable improvement in session fill rates.
  • Improved cost per booking on paid channels.
  • A repeatable marketing playbook that can be rolled out to new locations.
  • Founders no longer acting as the day-to-day marketing function.

What We're Looking For: A highly motivated marketeer who is both an active strategist and doer. Culture and fit are important to us so you must have an interest in the arts and leisure sectors and be a passionate pioneer for our growing brand. You’ll deliver creative, smart campaigns, to lift our profile, grow our audiences, and increase income across our venues and experiences. We are a highly collaborative, fast-paced and ideas driven team, so you’ll need to be energetic, fun and confident to work independently and collectively.

You’ll Likely Have:

  • A degree in a related subject and or 3-6+ years’ experience in a results-focused marketing role.
  • Experience driving demand for a physical, location-based, or experience-led business (e.g. hospitality, leisure, events, fitness, entertainment).
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and conversion.
  • Confidence working closely with founders and taking ownership.
  • Comfort operating in a growing business where systems are being built.

You Are: Bold, adventurous and commercially minded - you care about what actually drives revenue. Comfortable being hands-on as well as strategic. Motivated by ownership and progression, not just job titles. Pragmatic, curious, and willing to test and iterate.

What This Role Is Not:

  • Not a pure brand or content role.
  • Not an agency management position.
  • Not a junior "social media coordinator" role.
  • Not a role with endless layers of approval.

Why Join Splash Art Republic:

  • Direct impact on a growing national brand.
  • Clear progression to Head of Marketing.
  • Autonomy and trust from day one.
  • Opportunity to shape how marketing works across multiple locations.
  • Work in a creative, fun, and people-focused business.

The process: We are recruiting dynamically - shortlisting and interviewing on a rolling basis to ensure that we can be as responsive as possible. If you are interested in submitting an application for this role, please do so at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.

How to apply: Applications should be made via indeed. Please send an up-to-date CV and a covering letter (one side of A4, no AI please) telling us about yourself, your skills and experience and why you would be the perfect addition to our team. CV'S ALONE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST ALSO SUBMIT A COVERING LETTER THAT IS WRITTEN BY YOURSELF WITHOUT THE USE OF AI.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00 per year

Benefits: Company events, Company pension, Employee discount.

Application question(s): We will not accept or consider applications that do not include a CV AND a full Covering Letter detailing how your skills and experience match the job description and why you think you would be a good fit for the role. Have you attached BOTH a CV AND Covering Letter?

Education: Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience: Marketing and Communications: 3 years (required)

Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)

Work Location: In person
