Spital Clinic is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Private General Practitioner with a special interest in Women's Health and/or Men's Health to join our growing clinical team across our City and Euston locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, personalised healthcare within a modern, patient-centred private practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality private GP consultations, including face-to-face, telephone, and video appointments where appropriate.
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Deliver preventative healthcare services, including health screening and lifestyle medicine.
- Provide specialist assessment, treatment, and ongoing management in:
Women's Health
- Contraception services
- Sexual health
- Cervical screening
- Hormonal health and wellbeing
Men's Health
- Sexual health
- Preventative health screening
- Lifestyle medicine and wellbeing
- Make appropriate referrals to secondary care and specialist services.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Adhere to CQC requirements, GMC standards, and clinical governance policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audit activities.
Qualifications and Registration
Applicants must possess:
- Full qualification as a General Practitioner (GP)
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) (essential)
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise as GP in UK
- Right to work in the UK
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' post-CCT GP experience within the UK
- Previous experience working in UK General PracticeDemonstrable experience and/or a specialist interest in Women's Health and/or Men's Health
- Experience in delivering health screening and preventative medicine services (desirable)
- Previous private healthcare experience (desirable)
Compliance Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to provide:
- Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Occupational Health Clearance
- Evidence of immunisation status, including:
- MMR
- Tuberculosis screening
- Mandatory training compliance records
- Professional indemnity cover suitable for private practice
- Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (Adults and Children)
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Information Governance and Infection Control training
