About the Role
Spiro is looking for an experienced Logistics Project Manager with solid, hands-on event logistics expertise. You’ll be the person who knows venues inside out, understands F&B planning, can confidently shape client agendas, and keeps delegate movement running smoothly. You’ll also have a good understanding of basic AV requirements, registration needs and overall event flow.
What You’ll Do
- Lead logistics planning for a busy calendar of tier 2 and tier 3 events (20–150 attendees), across the UK, Poland, Germany, the Middle East and Kuwait.
- Work closely with our long-standing client, advising them on best practice, improving processes and offering clear, confident recommendations.
- Manage venue sourcing, catering plans, breakout requirements and on-site logistics.
- Ensure smooth delegate journeys and efficient movement throughout each event.
- Communicate directly with clients, navigating changing requirements with patience and clarity.
- Mentor and support the Event Coordinator as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams.
- Support delivery of a growing program of events.
- Travel for some events (with the option to outsource on-site support in high-volume regions).
- Build and leverage strong regional supplier relationships—your “little black book” is a plus.
About You
- Confident, client-facing and comfortable advising when improvements are needed.
- Likely a Logistics Manager, Event Manager or PM specialising in conferences.
- Strong project management skills, with deep knowledge of venues and operational requirements.
- Calm and organised when working in a fast-paced and changeable environment.
- Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative cross-regional team.
- Additional languages are a bonus but not essential.
