Operations role in a fast growing start-up. Looking for an organised individual to
provide administration, logistics and accounts support to the company. You will be
assisting with day to day operations of the company, as well as providing support to
the accounts department. The main goal is to ensure efficient running of business
processes.

We are a B2B company looking to revolutionise the drinks industry. Spiritrade links
up buyers and sellers in the drinks industry, both online, on our platform, and off
platform. We are a young, and quickly growing team, and our office is based in
Knightsbridge, London.
Job Description:
You will follow trades from beginning to end, ensuring the trading team has full
visibility of each trade and following up with the relevant members of the trading
team to ensure trading runs smoothly and is streamlined.
You will work closely with the existing Operations and Accounts team. You will be
expected to learn as you go, and will be given responsibility early on. This role is an
excellent opportunity to grow and develop a variety of skills, and gain experience in
the exciting world of international trade and tech!
Role:
- Processing orders, tracking trades, and ensuring they are cost-efficient.
- Organising shipments and ensuring they are completed successfully and on
time.
- Assisting the Operations Team in new ops projects and business
development, including contract negotiations.
- Pursuing cost reduction strategies and rate negotiations.
- Using initiative to automate and streamline existing processes.
- Keeping in contact with warehouses, ensuring deliveries are made on time
, and the process is efficient and cost-effective.
- Contact with suppliers, ensuring deliveries are made on time, and correct
documentation is received.
- Maintaining Databases.
- Opening client accounts, performing due diligence.
- Answering and making phone calls - need to be comfortable making phone
calls.
- Help maintain office policies and procedures, and assist in HR activities.
- Maintain and protect contact lists, and ensure client confidentiality is maintained.
- Monitor stock levels in our account and identify possible issues.
- Solving logistics problems as they arise, and answering client queries.
Skills:
- Bachelor\'s Degree Preferred.
- Some office experience if without a Bachelor\'s degree.
- Full Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Offices based in the centre of Knightsbridge, London
Hours are 9:00 - 5:30, with an early finish on Fridays
