As an integral member of our clinical team, you will work alongside GPs, Practice Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, effective and person‑centred care. With a focus on collaboration across practices, the development of more effective triage services and the increased use of new technology, we continue to improve the experience of Primary Care for both staff and patients. Responsibilities
- Undertaking clinical observations and monitoring patients' health needs
- Performing routine clinical procedures where appropriately trained, such as:
- wound care
- ECG
- phlebotomy
- vaccinations and drug injections
- ear irrigation
- reviews: annual diabetes, dementia, heart failure, COPD, asthma
- cytology health checks
- Supporting the management of patients with long‑term conditions
- Providing health promotion and lifestyle advice to patients
- Assisting with recall programmes and preventative healthcare initiatives
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
- Working within your scope of practice and escalating concerns appropriately
- Contributing to quality improvement activities and service development
