Pulmonary Rehabilitation Technical Instructor

Full-Time No working from home possible
Spirit Health

Tired of ordinary? Join Spirit now and help us raise the good kind of hell making healthcare easier, fairer, with a personal approach.

We're looking for a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Technical Instructor to jump in and make a real difference. Spirit Health is on a mission, and we need brilliant people to drive it forward. We’re growing and need people who move quick, think sharp, and care deeply. Think people-first, fast-paced, rewarding, fun, and never, ever dull. We are family with purpose!

Before you apply – this role is specifically for you if:

  • You are available to work every Monday.
  • You hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car, as travel across South and South East Staffordshire is required.
  • You have experience working with adults and the public in a health or social care setting, ideally within a community environment.
  • You have experience supporting or teaching individuals and groups, face-to-face and/or virtually.
  • You have an understanding of rehabilitation/reablement and an interest in respiratory care.
  • You are comfortable working within delegated plans, following protocols and recognising when to seek support.

There may also be opportunities to pick up additional bank hours, subject to service requirements and availability.

What’s in it for you?

  • 25 days leave plus bank holidays.
    · Option to buy 5 extra days (FTE). Time off is important!
    · You always get your birthday off.
    · Enhanced pay for maternity, adoption, shared parental and paternity leave.
    · Bonus scheme so you get to benefit from our success.
    · Recognition scheme that rewards brilliant work.
    · Flexible working opportunities to align with your lifestyle.
    · Death in service.
    · Car scheme.
    · Award winning wellbeing initiatives.
    · Access to many other benefits, including lifestyle discounts, emergency loans, eyecare vouchers, mental, wellness, financial and legal support.
    · An award winning, fun and rewarding culture where you make a genuine difference to patients and healthcare teams every day.

The role

As a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Technical Instructor, you'll support the safe and effective delivery of face-to-face and virtual pulmonary rehabilitation across South and South East Staffordshire.

You'll deliver and support group exercise, education and advice sessions, help patients build confidence in managing their respiratory conditions, monitor progress and complete outcome measures. You'll also provide responsive patient communication and essential administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team.

You'll need to be confident working independently within agreed competencies and protocols, while knowing when to ask for help or escalate concerns. You'll communicate with patients, carers, colleagues and partner services with empathy, professionalism and respect.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping people improve their health and wellbeing. Someone who brings energy, curiosity and motivation to their work and wants to make a real difference – not someone simply looking for another job.

This role is Monday only, with the potential for additional bank hours depending on service requirements.

If you're ready to grab an opportunity and run with it, and you meet the essential requirements above, we'd love to hear from you.

This could be the challenge you've been waiting for.

Closing date for applications is 20th September 2026.
