If you are ready to take the next step in your career with an innovative and energetic team, then we want to hear from you.**THE OPPORTUNITY – DECOMMISSIONING MANAGER*** As a member of the Energy Transition, Decommissioning and Projects leadership team, contribute to the execution of Spirit Energy’s strategy.* Lead the Decommissioning portfolio of projects, ensuring projects and programmes are used to optimise strategic benefits and operational efficiency.* Provide transparency and foresight on the decommissioning portfolio recognising the strategic influence is has on Spirit Energy.* Maximises value for Spirit-Energy by directing and optimising the ABEX portfolio, implementing and maintaining best practice project management methodologies and tools, and instigating value adding relationships in the supply chain.**AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT…**Once in role, you will be accountable for:* Accountable for health, safety, environmental and quality performance on decommissioning projects.* Managing the liabilities for Operated assets & to review and input into Non-Operated Assets* Owns the Decommissioning strategy to ensure optimal prioritisation of resources to align with overall strategic intent of the business and achieve best value for Spirit Energy.* Selects, develops, and manages multi-disciplinary project teams of company and contractor personnel ensuring outputs and outcomes are delivered to meet the agreed business / benefits case.* In conjunction with the procurement team, agrees contracts for the provision of services, monitoring compliance and managing variances.* Establish and maintain process and governance arrangements for the delivery of decommissioning strategy and plans, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities, that align with the wider organisation.* Consolidates and documents the fundamental components of projects (scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities and issues, and quality requirements) as part of project planning.* Identify and monitor portfolio risks (threats and opportunities), plan and implement responses to them and respond to other issues that affect decommissioning portfolio.* Manage stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and interests. An outward facing role, so considers and manages external stakeholders including NSTA, OGUK, HSE, BEIS, JV Partners, Shareholders, Supply Chain, Wells, HMRC, ECITB, etc.* Plan and control finances of portfolios as a means of driving performance and as part of overall financial management. Prepare and maintain overall portfolio schedule avoiding bottlenecks and conflicting demands, sequencing outcomes enabling efficient benefits realisation* Develop frameworks and methodologies that ensures management of portfolios will be comprehensive and consistent across different initiatives.* Establish and manage reviews at appropriate points during portfolios, which will inform the governance by providing evaluations of progress, methodologies and continuing relevance.* Lead and share project services expertise in SE**ABOUT YOU**You’ll need to degree educated in a relevant discipline, ideally Engineering or Technology, and at Chartered level.
