Experienced Private Client Solicitor sought to head up the Trusts and Estates department in a non-fee earning role for a successful Northampton law firm.
The Opportunity
Due to the success of the team, Spirehouse is working with a leading Northampton law firm to recruit a qualified Private Client Solicitor to lead their established team. This is a non fee earning position to support the management team. Our client is searching for a driven, talented and self-motivated Private Client Solicitor that is based locally or commutable to their Northampton office. This is a great opportunity for someone with a desire for personal development and to be part of overall business growth.
The Role
- Manage a broad caseload of private client with high net worth clients and complex probate matters including:
- Mentor a team of four fee earners, three paralegals and two secretaries
- Preparation of Wills, including those utilising trusts to assist with more complex family situations
- IHT/CGT Planning
- Preparation of Powers of Attorney to include registration of EPAs and LPAs
- Administration of taxable and non taxable estates
- Identifying trust administration requirements
