Spirehouse are recruiting for a Criminal Compliance & Regulatory Locum on behalf of a national law firm.
The Opportunity: Working alongside an experienced team and Partner, the role will focus on preparation and support work to include case preparation, witness statements, documentation and general inquest support. The team handle a broad mix of inquests to include defending regulatory investigations and prosecutions conducted by bodies such as the HSE, Environment Agency, police, local authorities and other regulators. The role is expected to last 4-6 months and can be conducted on a mainly remote basis. Full or part-time applicants will be considered. A competitive hourly rate is on offer, dependent on experience.
Requirements:
- Strong inquest experience
- Experience with health & safety, environmental agencies, local authorities and healthcare regulators would be advantageous
- The firm are not looking for individuals with legal aid or purely criminal experience
