We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide expert HR advice and support to managers across a range of employment matters. Working in a business partnering model, you will coach and guide managers through employee relations issues, organisational change, and policy application, helping them make confident, risk-based decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear HR advice on employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, ill health, and redundancy.
- Support and coach managers through complex casework and change programmes, including restructures and TUPE.
- Advise on employment law, policy, and risk, offering practical options for decision-making.
- Work with trade unions to maintain positive employee relations.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and support informed management decisions.
- Contribute to HR projects, policy development, and training delivery.
- Support job evaluation and pay and reward processes.
- Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all HR activity.
About You
You will have:
- Experience in a generalist HR advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Confidence managing employee relations cases and supporting organisational change.
- Ability to influence and coach managers effectively.
- Strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with HR data and systems.
Qualifications
- A Level or equivalent (essential).
- CIPD qualification or degree (desirable).
