Locum Corporate/Commercial Solicitor with a specialism in Energy / Power required for an ad-hoc assignment on behalf of an International Law Firm.
The Opportunity: The role is to provide clear, practical and commercial focused advice on energy and power agreements. Our client is happy to hear from candidates with flexible working arrangements as this is an ad-hoc assignment. The exact hours and working arrangement will be agreed after application. A competitive hourly rate is on offer.
Experience Required:
- Acting on Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), particularly where power is being acquired from a site remote from the offtake site
- Experience of grid connection offers with National Grid and the assignment or novation of those connection agreements, ideally in the context of transfers to another site
- Specific NESO experience
- Strong familiarity with connection agreements more generally
