Personal Injury Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive | Bristol | Hybrid
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Personal Injury Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a highly regarded Claimant Serious and Catastrophic Injury team in Bristol.
You will handle a varied caseload involving serious injuries sustained by motor and vulnerable road users, including cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrians. This is an opportunity to work on complex and rewarding claims within a supportive team, dealing with high-quality work and making a genuine difference to clients.
The Role
- Managing a mixed caseload of Fast Track and Intermediate Track personal injury claims.
- Taking ownership of your files and conducting litigation through to trial.
- Handling all aspects of litigation, including issuing proceedings.
- Managing claims involving polytrauma, pain disorders and psychiatric injuries.
- Communicating effectively with clients, insurers and other stakeholders.
- Supporting and supervising trainee case handlers where required.
- Participating in team meetings, networking and business development activities.
About You
You will be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with previous experience managing your own claimant personal injury caseload.
Ideally, you will have experience dealing with claims involving motor and vulnerable road users, together with exposure to a range of complex injuries, including polytrauma, pain disorders and psychiatric conditions.
Experience of moderate brain injury and fatal injury claims would be advantageous, although not essential.
You will also have:
- A strong understanding of the litigation process, from issuing proceedings through to trial.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and client expectations.
- A proactive, practical and enthusiastic approach.
- The confidence to work independently while contributing to a wider team.

- Salary of £34,000 – £49,000, depending on experience.
- 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
