An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded national Employment & HR team based in Birmingham.

The Opportunity

You will advise a broad range of employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including Employment Tribunal claims, HR advisory work, disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies, discrimination matters, employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements.

Working as part of a collaborative national team, you will gain exposure to complex and high-value matters while enjoying significant client contact, responsibility and support from experienced partners. You'll also be encouraged to contribute to business development activities, networking events and client seminars.

Requirements

  • Around 6+ years' PQE in Employment law.
  • Strong experience advising employer clients on a wide range of employment and HR matters.
  • Experience managing Employment Tribunal claims from inception to final hearing.
  • Excellent drafting, client management and advisory skills.
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • An interest in business development and practice growth.
