A Housing Association based in High Wycombe is looking to appoint a Housing Solicitor on a locum basis to support their legal team. The role will involve providing day-to-day housing law advice, with a particular focus on Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) litigation.
The Role:
- Managing a caseload of housing and ASB matters.
- Providing legal advice to internal housing teams.
- Handling ASB litigation, including injunctions and possession proceedings.
- Drafting pleadings, notices, statements and other legal documentation.
- Advising on tenancy and landlord & tenant issues.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, tenants and external parties.
- Attending court when required β this is sporadic rather than a regular requirement.
About You:
We are looking for a qualified Housing Solicitor with solid experience of housing law, ideally including ASB litigation and court work. We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including private practice, Housing Associations and local government. The key requirement is strong, relevant housing experience and the ability to manage a caseload independently. The successful candidate will be comfortable providing practical legal advice, managing their own caseload and working closely with operational housing teams. The role offers hybrid working, with just 2 days per week required in the High Wycombe office. Condensed hours will also be considered.
