Spirehouse Recruitment is looking for an Associate Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Public Sector Legal division, specialising in the placement of locum and interim solicitors within local government. This is a genuine career development opportunity.
You will initially join in a delivery-focused role, working directly with the Director to develop your market knowledge, build candidate relationships and support live recruitment assignments. Our structured training and mentoring programme is designed to support your progression into a 360 Recruitment Consultant role within approximately 3-9 months, giving you responsibility for developing client relationships, managing vacancies and generating revenue.

Our Public Sector Legal division is a key area of growth, offering the opportunity to play a role in building one of the leading specialist legal recruitment teams serving local government.
The Role:
- Supporting the Director with candidate delivery and placements.
- Identifying, interviewing and engaging with legal professionals.
- Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Developing knowledge of the local government legal market.
- Building your own client and candidate relationships as you progress.
- Evolving into a full 360 recruitment role with responsibility for your own clients, vacancies and revenue generation.
About You:
We are ideally looking for someone who is degree educated, with previous recruitment experience. Candidates able to demonstrate strong intellectual capability, excellent written communication skills and professional credibility will also be considered. You will be ambitious, commercially driven and motivated by career progression and earning potential. You will enjoy building relationships and understand that successful recruitment occasionally requires flexibility outside standard working hours to deliver an outstanding service to clients and candidates.
The Opportunity:
