A successful Birmingham based law firm is seeking a skilled lawyer to join a supportive Birmingham team handling catastrophic and fatal injury cases, including serious orthopaedic, brain, spinal, amputee, and fatal injuries.
You will have the chance to manage cases up to £100k independently and assist on higher-value cases, some exceeding £1 million. This role offers the autonomy to make real decisions while gaining experience alongside experienced colleagues.
The Role
- Manage higher-value personal injury cases
- Focus on early intervention and client rehabilitation
- Maintain excellent client communication
- Progress cases efficiently and meet court deadlines
- Assess damages and work towards effective settlements
- Keep up to date with legal and regulatory changes
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive (2–10 years PQE) with experience in serious injury cases.
- Ability to handle cases up to £100k independently and assist on higher value cases.
- Strong client care and communication skills, with a focus on early intervention and rehabilitation.
- Litigation experience, including meeting court deadlines and managing limitations periods.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and engage in business development.
