Clinical Negligence Solicitor interim opportunity within the Defendant Team at a Legal 500 law firm.
The Opportunity:
Medical Negligence Solicitor sought on behalf of a market-leading law firm for a 6–12-month Fixed Term Contract. You will manage a caseload of approximately 30 defendant cases, handling complex, high-profile matters of varying value, from around £100K - £20+million. Working alongside an experienced team, you will have exposure to challenging cases and the opportunity to develop expertise within Clinical Negligence and Healthcare Law. Paralegal, litigation assistance and admin/secretarial support will be provided. There is flexibility to work in any office and generous hybrid working on offer – London, Newcastle, Sheffield, Birmingham and Cambridge. This is ideally a full-time opportunity, although part-time applicants are encouraged to apply.
Desired Experience:
- 4 years+ UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with relevant experience
- Defendant medical negligence claims
- Knowledge of insurance and coverage issues
- Genuine interest in Clinical Negligence and Healthcare Law
