The Opportunity: We are currently recruiting for a New Business Executive to join our Residential Conveyancing team based at our Norwich Office. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, growing and fast-paced law firm.

The Role: This role will see the successful candidate undertaking the following tasks:

  • Lead Conversion and Quote Handling
  • Handle Inbound Enquiries: Act as the first point of contact for new conveyancing enquiries via phone, email, and online portals.
  • Provide Quotations: Generate accurate, timely fee estimates and conveyancing quotes for potential clients.
  • Convert Leads: Proactively follow up on inquiries, build rapport with prospective clients, and convert quotes into active instructions.
  • Explain Process: Clearly explain the conveyancing process, firm value proposition, and key timelines to new clients.
  • Client Onboarding and Compliance
  • Open Files: Initiate new property files on the firm’s case management system.
  • AML & ID Verification: Carry out Money Laundering checks, verify client identification, and ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and GDPR.
  • Gather Initial Data: Collect necessary information (sale/purchase details) and send out client care packs.
  • Relationship Management
  • Referrer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, mortgage brokers, and property developers to generate consistent new business.
  • Account Management: Act as a key liaison point for referrers, providing regular updates to ensure high-quality service.
  • Administration and Reporting
  • System Maintenance: Track, update, and report on enquiry pipelines and conversion metrics.
  • File Handover: Ensure a seamless transition of new files to fee-earners.

The Candidate: The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience within a law firm. We are looking for someone with great time management, IT and communication skills, who is an accurate typist (including dictations) and someone who appreciates the importance of attention to detail. The applicants will enjoy a busy environment and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. We are keen to find individuals who have a positive "can-do" attitude, who love learning new skills. Successful candidates will be team players who thrive in a collaborative environment. It goes without saying that we need people who can build a strong rapport with clients as well as their team. About the Team: The Residential Conveyancing team are approachable, personal, professional and efficient individuals that guide and support clients through buying and selling property, equity release, remortgaging a property, transfer of equity and voluntary first registration of land.
