Location: Sheepbridge, Chesterfield

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum (negotiated on experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 17:00

Position is full time, covering core office opening hours. Office based. Reporting to Finance Director.

We are seeking to appoint this role on a fixed term basis, with the opportunity for the role to move to a permanent contract (depending on performance and team fit). The role will be based at Sheepbridge, Chesterfield.

We are recruiting a Management Accountant ideally with a background of working in the Manufacturing industry.

Day to day operational duties involve:

  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of data for weekly and monthly commercial reports
  • Update of fixed asset register and monthly depreciation journal
  • Preparation and posting of monthly journals and reconciliation of nominal control accounts
  • Overseeing purchase ledger invoicing
  • Production of quarterly VAT return
  • Providing cover for weekly payroll as required
  • Supporting the production of quarterly and annual budget and forecasts
  • Assisting in the preparation of the audits
  • Line management of the assistant accountant / payroll administrator

Candidates should be confident in the use of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word and Outlook.
