A new and exciting opportunity for a Technical Engineer has become available within their prestigious Technical Department. Engineers are renowned for their technical knowledge, customer service and excellent turnaround times.
Job Description: The Technical Engineer produces high quality, accurate and user-friendly technical drawings using a combination of floorplans, elevations and sections to be submitted to architects, engineers and subcontractors for approval. Keeping the client updated continually and working with them to ensure the product meets their exact project requirements. This position reports to the Technical Manager and is expected to work closely with production, sales and the rest of the department. Projects include commercial, industrial, and residential buildings, including iconic buildings such as football stadiums, national event centres and educational institutes.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a knowledge of construction-related CAD software (essential AutoCAD). They will need to be self-motivated, quick thinking, and have excellent communication skills. An element of 'commercial awareness' is required as regular contact with various clients will take place daily. Relevant experience is desirable, and a highly motivated can-do approach to engineering is essential.
