Radiographer (General) – Band 6 – Brentwood – Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Spire Hartswood Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a General Radiographer to join our experienced and dynamic Imaging team. Working with a wide variety of specialisms you will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and supportive environment. This is a permanent full‑time position.
Spire Hartswood Hospital is a 49 bed hospital with 4 theatres and offers a comprehensive range of services and facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide general imaging for patients within the radiographic department
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
- Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security
- Keep accurate records and update records when needed
- Ensure a high standard of patient care is maintained throughout
Who We're Looking For
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC.
- Have General X‑rays/Fluoroscopy/Theatre experience.
- Be competent in I.V. cannulation.
- Possess strong communication skills and a good standard of IT.
- Have previous experience within private healthcare (desirable but not essential).
- Have good communication skills.
- Have a mammography accreditation certificate (desirable).
