Spire Little Aston Hospital are looking for a Bank Chef to join our Catering team on a flexible bank basis. This role will cover annual leave, sickness and busy periods, with shifts available between 7am - 7pm, including some weekends.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef who enjoys working in a professional environment and delivering high-quality food and service to patients, staff and consultants.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support with the preparation and cooking of meals
- Deliver food service to patients, staff and visitors
- Assist with food orders and dietary requirements
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Support with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Follow food safety and health & safety procedures
- Assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties
Who we're looking for:
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification
- Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
- Experience preparing meals for large numbers
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
