Physiotherapist – Fixed Term Contract | Physiotherapy | Inpatient/Outpatient | Southend | Fixed Term Contract, 37.5 hours per week, can consider part time.

Spire Wellesley has an exciting opportunity for an Outpatient/Inpatient Physiotherapist to join our experienced and dynamic team on a fixed term contract from 30 hours up to 37.5 hours per week. You will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and supportive environment.

Spire Wellesley offers comprehensive private hospital services in a comfortable and relaxed environment to patients from across Essex. The Wellesley has 3 Theatres (2 laminar flow) and an endoscopy unit, a 33 bedded Surgical Ward covering a wide variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynae, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology and ENT. We have had a recent Theatre refurbishment to further upgrade our theatre environment and bring cutting edge technology to our hospital.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the outpatient department and/or ward, depending on applicant.
  • Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks.
  • Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.

Who we are looking for

  • Be HCPC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
  • Have 12 months Physiotherapy experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can showcase excellent patient care.
