Spire Wellesley Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our team on a full-time permanent basis working 37.5 hours per week. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality housekeeping service to the hospital and auxiliary buildings. We operate a rota shift pattern; working hours will be 5 out of 7 days, with shift patterns: 6am - 2pm, 7am - 3pm, 9.30am – 5.30pm, 2pm to 10pm. Please only apply if you are able to commit to these shift patterns as this will be on a rota. This will include weekend cover of the Ward & Theatres.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct layout as needed and both offices and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH.
- Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.
Who we're looking for:
- Experience of working in a similar role, in a customer facing environment but this is not essential.
- What is important is that you are hard working and reliable.
- It is desirable but not essential that you have an awareness and understanding of Health & Safety at work and COSHH.
- Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
