Spire Thames Valley Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ward Team on a bank basis. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about high-quality surgical care and are looking for flexible work within a well-respected private healthcare environment.
You will be joining a highly skilled, supportive multidisciplinary team, where patient care, clinical excellence, and professional standards are at the heart of everything we do. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver high-quality nursing care across a varied and sometimes complex caseload.
- Support patients' physical, emotional, and clinical needs throughout their hospital stay.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues, including the handling of sensitive or complex information.
- Work collaboratively within the MDT, contributing to safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
- Promote best practice in health, safety, infection prevention, and clinical governance.
- Support service development and share knowledge to enhance team capability and patient outcomes.
Who we’re looking for:
- A Registered Nurse (NMC) with no restrictions on practice.
- Confident working independently while being a strong team player.
- Experienced in an acute hospital ward environment.
- Clinically competent across a range of nursing skills, underpinned by professional knowledge and sound judgement.
Contract: Bank
Working Hours: Day Shifts 07:00 - 19:30, Night Shifts 19:00 - 07:30
