Spire Claremont Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join the bank team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To work as part of the engineering team providing a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service within the hospital, ensuring a safe environment for all Patients, Visitors, Staff and Contractors.
- The role will require repair, maintenance or installation of all plant, equipment, systems and building structure/fabric. This will consist of Planned Preventative Maintenance, testing and calibration, fault finding, defect correction and supporting the emergency on call on a rota basis.
- To undertake maintenance/testing/troubleshooting of plant/equipment, ensuring compliance with current HTM recommendations / PPM Schedules and manufacturers' instructions, including but not limited to:
- Building and Minor Electrical Responsibilities
- Water Responsibilities
- Ventilation System Responsibilities
- Decontamination Responsibilities
- Medical Gas Responsibilities
General Duties
Who we're looking for:
- Served a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with C&G Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical field.
- Hold relevant certificates or be willing to undertake specialist training in specific areas.
- Significant experience in building services management with a track record of success.
- Extensive knowledge of building services.
- Able to prioritise demands against resources.
- Able to support hospital compliance with changing legislation.
