Join Spire Dunedin Hospital as a Bank Dietitian and play a vital role in delivering best-practice, patient-centred cancer care. Using your specialist oncology expertise, you'll help improve treatment outcomes, enhance patient wellbeing, and provide evidence-based nutritional support as part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Spire Dunedin Hospital has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years, as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading, the hospital has two theatres, 16 inpatient beds, three recovery bays, Oncology services and an Endoscopy Suite.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To manage complex nutritional needs in cancer patients.
  • Improved treatment outcomes.
  • Management of treatment side effects.
  • Prevention and management of malnutrition.
  • Support across the cancer pathway.
  • Patient education and quality of life.

Who we're looking for:

  • A degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Recognised accredited Programme: Completion of a dietetic internship or a supervised practice.
  • Proven experience in oncology; it would be advantageous to have private healthcare experience.
