Spire Fylde Coast Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent full-time basis. The role will involve working in our Inpatient and Outpatient services. This is a great chance to work within a leading private hospital, delivering high quality care to a wide range of patients. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience of working in orthopaedics in both Inpatient and Outpatient settings.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within both Inpatient and Outpatient settings.
- Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risk.
- Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.
- Be involved in service development, team audits, in-service training and staff development.
Who we're looking for:
- Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
- Be HCPC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
- Post graduate clinical experience within a clinical environment (NHS or Private Hospital).
- Experience of working in Orthopaedics in both an outpatient and inpatient setting.
- Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a varied caseload.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills are key to continue our high standards of patient care.
- Flexible approach to working patterns and clinical areas.
